This methodological guide on the integration of gender in environmental assessments is intended as a practical tool for development actors and environmental assessment experts, to better structure the questioning of gender and the consideration of gender analysis in the different stages of environmental and social impact studies of projects and in strategic environmental assessments of development programs, plans and policies. It is with pleasure that we warmly invite readers, on the one hand to its practical use and to the pursuit of exchanges through feedback from field experiences and the multiplication of discussion forums, and on the other hand to its integration into the monitoring tools of the inclusion of sustainable development in project documents, programs and development plan.
